Hilarious Way to Prank Your Friends on WhatsApp

During this quarantine time, everyone are packed inside their shells. Some are binge watching series on Netflix while others are learning new skills to make their resume stand out of the crowd. If you are feeling bored after doing all that and just want a share a laugh and prank your friend, here, I am going to tell you one method I recently discovered by myself.

Let's come to the point. In this article, I'll be guiding you how you can change the status of your friends in WhatsApp app and prank them showing what they shouldn't have posted.
  1. All you have to do, go to '.Statuses' folder of WhatsApp. If you don't have idea what I am saying about, check out my another article on how to open '.Statuses' folder on your mobile device.
  2. Next, download any image from Google Image of your choice with which you want to prank your friend. It could be image of their exes or some image showing nudity. Make sure all this you are doing is on your phone itself.
  3. Go to the image you just downloaded, copy and paste it into .Statuses folder.
  4. Open Whatsapp and check the image with which you wish to replace. 
  5. Open .Statuses folder again, select the image you wish to replace, and copy its name with its .jpg file extension.
  6. After copying, delete that image.
  7. Rename the downloaded image with the copied text and also make sure you change the file extension from .jpeg or .png to .jpg. Ignore any warning you get for changing the file extension and proceed.
  8. Open WhatsApp, go to the friend's status whom you wanted to prank. You will see that the image has been replaced with the one you downloaded. If the image doesn't load up try closing the app and then opening it again.
  9. Take screenshot or reply to that status and prank them.

P.P.S. I tried this prank on one of my close friend and he deleted that status.


Easiest Way to Save or Send WhatsApp Status of Others without Third Party Apps

There are many apps on the Playstore that offers to save or share WhatsApp status of others. Some of them offers ad on their app and in-app purchases to remove those ads or other features which goes as high as 150 INR per item and beside that taking up precious space on your phone as well data for loading ads.

In this article, I'll be telling you how to view or save or share such status whether its any image or video without installing any 3rd party app for that purpose.
All you need is a simple file manager, it doesn't matter whether the file manager has been shipped with your phone or you have downloaded separately.

Follow below steps:
  1. Open File manager and head into Settings.
  2. In Settings, turn on 'Show hidden files', 'Hidden Files',etc.
  3. Come back to the main screen of the app.
  4. Go to Internal storage or also called as 'Internal Shared Storage'.
  5. Scroll down till WhatsApp or search for folder 'WhatsApp' and open it.
  6. Inside WhatsApp folder, there will be 7 other folders. Out of them, open 'Media'.
  7. Inside Media folder, open '.Statuses' folder.
  8. Here, you will find images and videos that have been posted by your friends. Be aware that files in this folder gets deleted automatically either when it expires after 24 hours or the user who posted it deletes it.
  9. Tap and Hold on any one of the file, select Send to send again to anyone else, Move to copy to another folder as it gets deleted automatically or Open to see them enlarged.
With this method, you don't have to annoy your friends asking them to resend you their status, which is time wasting and wasting of precious internet data for both of you.

Shh..! Secret Way To Predate Your Emails

Either you have missed your assignment's submission date or you have missed really tight deadline at your work and you urgently need to send an email with a date that predates one day, one week or even one month ago.

Most of the articles you see on the web are really old or they do not work but today I'll be showing you how to successfully predate your emails to an earlier date WITH PROOF.

Most of the other articles you see on web makes you to predate your system's clock to an earlier date first and then open your email but when you do that you get to see an error: "Your Computer Clock is Wrong." or "Did Not Connect: Potential Security Issue." or any other error.



Steps to follow to predate/backdate your emails:

Step 1: DO NOT change your system time yet
Step 2: Open your email account on your browser.
Step 3:  In your sytem's 'Time & Date' settings page, turn off 'Automatic Date & Time'.
For me, my current date is 2 May 2020 and 'Automatic Date & Time' turned off.
Step 4: Keep the email account's tab opened in your web browser in the background and now back date your system's setting, let's say change it to 31 Mar 2020.
Step 5: Click on 'New Mail' or 'Compose' and prepare your email and send it immediately.
Step 6: Turn back on 'Automatic Date & Time' on your system so that you can browse other stuff on the web.
